What is MeepleThèque?
MeepleThèque is an iOS app that does two things: it organises your board game collection and logs your plays. It is built so that recording a game takes under fifteen seconds, at the table, without interrupting the evening. It works offline and syncs as soon as the connection is back. It is free up to 30 games, then 4.99 € per month or 24.99 € per year for the unlimited collection, player rankings and statistics.
Frequently asked questions
- Do I need an account?
- Yes, with an email address and a password only. That is what lets you find your collection again if you change phones. You can delete your account and all your data from inside the app, in two taps.
- Does it work offline?
- Yes. Your collection, your players and your plays are copied onto your phone. You can browse and log a play with no network: it syncs on its own once you are back online, and never creates a duplicate.
- Do my friends need the app?
- No. Players are records you create yourself, with a first name and an avatar. Nobody else needs an account, and nothing is shared publicly.
- How much does it cost?
- The app is free up to 30 games, with the full play flow. Beyond that, Premium is 4,99 € per month or 24,99 € per year, with a 7-day free trial.
- Can I import my collection from another service?
- Not yet. Games are added one at a time for now. Importing an existing collection is planned, but we would rather describe what exists than what is promised.
- Is there an Android version?
- No, MeepleThèque is available on iPhone only for the time being.
